Structec Celebrates 20th Anniversary with Family Fun Day

Updated: Aug 27, 2020

In September, Structec celebrated its 20th Anniversary since it was founded by Managing Director Steve Davies in 1998.  To mark the celebration, the company hosted a Family Fun Day at St Helens Rugby Club for all its employees, their families, and some long standing partners of the company.

The day was a huge success, with entertainment in the form of touch rugby, penalty shootouts, a magician and live music, not to mention a buffet lunch. The day concluded with the presentation by the whole Structec team of an award to Directors Steve and Tracey Davies, to congratulate them for reaching such a milestone.

Structec would like to thank St Helens Rugby Club for allowing it to use their facilities to host the day. St Helens is the oldest Rugby Union Club in the world, and therefore was a fitting location for celebrating the history of Structec. Structec has recently become a sponsor of the club, and the company logo can now be seen on signs surrounding the pitch.

Steve Davies commented:

“We would like to thank all Structec staff and associates for their continued efforts in work which made reaching this milestone possible. We would also like to thank St Helen’s Rugby Club for the opportunity to use their facilities, and hope our sponsorship demonstrates an ongoing friendship.”
