Structec is delighted to be continuing its work with the Knowsley Apprenticeship Partnership again this year. Our Managing Director, Steve Davies, attended an open day this month hosted by The Forshaw Group. They welcomed pupils, parents and teachers from All Saints High School, Kirkby, along with Lesley Martin-Wright, Chief Executive of Knowsley Chamber of Commerce and representatives from several other Knowsley based companies.
Steve spoke to the year-11 pupils about the bright future of construction and apprenticeships for young people. He explained that there are no-end of opportunities within our industry for those with ambition who were prepared to work hard.
Lesley Martin-Wright also spoke of the fantastic training opportunities for young people who are prepared to engage with Knowsley based companies.
As member of the Knowsley Apprenticeship Partnership, we pride ourselves on the opportunities and training support we offer to people who are looking to enter the construction industry. We have not let the challenges of the past 2 years dampen our passion for training and the kick-starting of careers for local school leavers . Since the start of the pandemic we have successfully recruited and trained 7 new apprentices and we will soon be receiving applications for this year’s intake.
