Structec’s Fleet Modernisation with New Electric Vehicles

Updated: Aug 12, 2022

Structec has long-established commitments to environmental sustainability and ambitious goals to drastically reduce its carbon emissions and achieve Net Zero. In line with these, the company has recently invested in 3 new fully electric vehicles along with accompanying infrastructure. These will be used by our Managers and Surveyors in carrying out site visits.

We have also modernised our operative fleet adding a further 13 new Euro 6.2 lean engine vans. This investment, alongside the continual review and retirement of old and inefficient vehicles, helps to ensure that Structec remains accountable to its environmental targets and compliant with its ISO14001 certification.

Geoff Davies, Quality & Performance Manager, commented:

"We are continually striving for new ways to reduce our carbon emissions and environmental footprint. The purchase of these new, sustainable vehicles is an important step towards the reduction of our environmental impact on the communities we serve and the planet. We will continue this drive to achieve our Net Zero goals."
