Craig Fights for Local Charity

Updated: Apr 28, 2020

Structec’s workforce has once again come together in support of The Big Help Project, this time in the form of sponsorship of Craig Morris, one of our Joiners, in an amateur Boxing match. The match took place on the 30th July in Liverpool’s Landmark Adelphi Hotel. Everyone at Structec would like to congratulate Craig on his victory in the 2nd Round and his raising of £715 in sponsorship money for the charity.

The Big Help Project is a local charity for whom Structec provide regular support and whose aim is to 'work with others to help alleviate poverty throughout Knowsley and the surrounding areas.' The charity also runs the Knowsley Food Bank, a local initiative which aims to provide food for local families who are struggling against poverty.

Craig was moved by the charity’s practices, having been introduced to them by Structec, and set out to take part in the boxing match, training for 4 months in order to be able to raise this fantastic amount of money for such a worthy cause.
