Everyone at Structec would like to congratulate Trainee, Darren Quilliam, on being presented with a Celebration of Achievement Award at Buckingham Palace. Darren received the award from Olympic Gold Medallist Chris Boardman, MBE, at a prestigious Duke of Edinburgh event inside the Palace on Wednesday 29th November 2016.
The Knowsley Group MADE (Making a Difference Everywhere) Together nominated Darren for the special award for the difference he has made turning around his education and helping out on the consultation and development process of a large extension project built by Structec on James Holt Avenue, Knowsley.
Proud of his trip to London Darren was relaxed on his return and happy to talk with colleagues about his encounters at the Palace, and his meeting with Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh and Olympian Chris Boardman who is pictured alongside him and Jenny Clay, Knowsley Council CLA Co-ordinator.
