Structec would like to congratulate Apprentices James Neary and John Docherty in achieving their NVQ  trade qualifications.

James joined Structec in 2014 having already achieved a NVQ Level 1 and 2 Carpentry & Joinery qualification. As James was keen to demonstrate his skills and determination to progress to next the level, Structec were extremely happy to help him achieve his ambition by supporting him through the NVQ Level 3 Diploma at Oldham College.

James is currently working as part of our First Choice Homes Oldham Adaptation team demonstrating our commitment to employ local young people and achieve our social value duties for our customers across the region.

John joined Structec in 2013 working initially as a site labourer. However, due to John’s commitment and attitude it became quickly apparent that if we invested in him, he had ability to make the grade as Multi Skilled operative. Therefore in 2014 John started training for a Level 2 NVQ Diploma in Building Maintenance, Multi-trade Repair and Refurbishment Operations at Fullagar Construction College, St Helens, qualifying in March 2016. John is now a valued member of our Knowsley Adaptation team working across the Borough allowing him to further develop his skills and knowledge.
