Steve Davies, Managing Director of Structec joined the High Sherriff of Merseyside, the Mayor of Knowsley and The Rt Hon George Howarth MP to present awards to young people involved in learning film making skills at NEET TV.
NEET TV is part of Knowsley Enterprise Academy and a local Charitable Trust located near to the Structec offices at the North Mersey Business Centre.
The special guest presenter for the event was local comedian Ken Dodd who entertained the 350 members of the audience, including 100 young people and their families.
The films, which all received awards, ranging from Acting & Costume Design to Imagination & Vision, tackled subjects including World War 1 and challenging the stereotypes around people with disabilities.
