Structec Supporting Knowsley Through Difficult Lockdown Period

In a bid to support our local community, Structec was keen to play its part in helping those struggling most during what has been a challenging and uncertain time. Our staff and managers have been working alongside the Centre for Independent Living at Knowsley Council to deliver food parcels to vulnerable people and personal protective equipment (PPE) to their carers.

The generosity of our staff in donating their time enabled us to deliver around 400 food parcels weekly, which has been an invaluable service to the community. We are proud to have been in a position to help those who need it most, ensuring that these people remain safe and healthy in this dangerous time.

We are pleased that our efforts have been recognised by Cllr Sean Donnelly, Deputy Leader of Knowsley Council and Cabinet Member (Health & Social Care), who wrote: “Your generosity, commitment and dedication to responding to this pandemic is commendable.”

Managing Director Steve Davies commented:

“We are pleased to have been commended by Cllr Donnelly, though the real sense of achievement arises from being able to help our community. We never cease to be amazed at the generosity and dedication of our staff, and all here at Structec are committed to sustaining these efforts into the future.”
